The biggest barrier faced by individual advocates and new or small organizations trying to affect change is inadequate funding. Throughout the history of our movement, the majority of funding has been held by a handful of organizations and doled out by a handful of wealthy donors. A more equitable movement would include a broader base of funding and a more flat spread of funding across organizations. In this panel, experts from both the funder side of the movement, as well as fundraisers, will look at what can be done to balance the monetary landscape of our movement.
